GCSE Results Day 2023 Information

Information for current Year 11 students wishing to join the Sixth Form.

Please come to the study centre for 9am on Thursday 24th to collect your results. After this, log in to Applicaa to check your admission status. You will find your GCSE results pre-loaded into Applicaa.
I have met the criteria for all my subjects: If you have met all the admission criteria for your chosen subjects, this will be evident in Applicaa. Select ‘Enrolment Form’, a pop up box will come up, if you wish to view your grades select ‘Step 2’ and the click ‘Save and Next’ to confirm all details are correct, you will then be taken to the courses section where you need to select the blue button on the right hand side to select your subjects. Once selected, click the ‘Next’ button on the top right. You are now submitting your application.
You will receive your timetable via email on 31st August. Come to school on 1st September at 8.20am.
I have missed the criteria for my subjects: log in to Applicaa and it will be evident if you cannot study some of your chosen subjects. If you have met the criteria to access other subjects and wish to proceed with your application, use the blue ‘Select’ buttons to tell us your new choices and then click ‘Next’ and then ‘Confirm’. Then also email your subject change request to sixthform@sjwms.org.uk. You have until Tuesday 29th to do this. If we can fit you in to these new subjects, we will amend Applicaa and email you. Check back in Applicaa to see if this has been possible.
I have missed the entry criteria for the sixth form: log into Applicaa to view your application status. If your grades are below the threshold for entry, this will be clear. We will be unable to proceed with your application and we wish you all the best for the future.

Information for new, ‘external’ students with an application open to us via Applicaa:

I have got my GCSE results. What do I do now? Log into Applicaa and follow the instructions to inform us of your grades and upload photographs of all your statements of results. Start by clicking on ‘Start your Enrolment’ (blue box), then click ‘Save and Next’ at the bottom right of the subsequent screen, and then ‘Confirm’. We need to see all your grades, not just the ones relevant for your chosen subjects. Be sure to change your grade status from ‘Predicated’ to ‘Achieved’. Upload your evidence in this section, and click ‘Save and Next’. On the next screen press the blue ‘Select’ buttons next to your subjects, then click ‘Next’ and then ‘Confirm’. On the top right hand side click the ‘Next’ button which will submit your application.
This needs to be done by 5pm on 24th August. You will receive your timetable via email on 31st August. Come to school on 1st September at 8.20am.
I have got my GCSE results and have achieved all the criteria to join the sixth form and do my chosen subjects. Congratulations. Upload your results as detailed above. We will check the grades, check the oversubscription criteria (distance is the crucial one) and make final offers over Thursday afternoon and Friday. You will be notified via Applicaa. Please be patient.
