Students recently visited Parliament to meet Lord Johnson, Chairman of the Conservative Party. To their surprise, they were joined by Lord Leigh, current founding sponsor of the Leigh Academies Trust. Lord Leigh (blue tie) was keen to talk to students about the current schools bill that will restrict powers of academy trusts and which he was speaking against in the chamber that day.
