What we ignore, we condone…

Sexual harassment is a growing problem nationally amongst young people. We want to ensure that all of our pupils feel safe and empowered to report any incidents of sexual harassment or inappropriate behaviour. Sexual harassment is the unwanted behaviour of a sexual nature which:

  • violates your dignity.
  • makes you feel intimidated, degraded or humiliated.
  • creates a hostile or offensive environment.

Sexual harassment can take many forms including:

  • Being sent explicit, unsolicited sexual material
  • Being pressured to send nude pictures
  • Sexist name calling
  • Obscene remarks
  • Inappropriate touching
  • Upskirting

If you feel that you have been a victim of sexual harassment we urge you to come forward and report this. Tell a teacher, email
