This term, Year 9 students attended an impactful talk by the Breck Foundation focused on grooming and online safety. The Breck Foundation was established in 2014 following the tragic loss of 14-year-old Breck Bednar, and their presentation provided a powerful real-world context to student learning. The session reinforced topics covered in Life Skills lessons and our Safeguarding curriculum including, being aware of what we share online and who we might be sharing it with, sexual financial extortion, AI generated images and knowing how and where to seek support should we need it.
